ICTEX2000 Holiday Workshop 2010

In the middle of the first week of the holidays we were involved in a 3 day ICT holiday workshop. The purpose of this holiday workshop was to find out more about the 21st technology tools and discuss their roles in the classroom. We had to research a chosen device like the ipod touch. We then had to present it back to the group using a software, we chose I can animate. We then had to make 1min movies to post on youtube. We have 12 movies on youtube from the workshop. On the third day we travelled to Auckland University of Technology to facilitate a workshop on multimedia. To teach imovie we used the Amazing Race concept to gain a better understanding in iMovie concepts.

..In the first week of spring, we (Mr. lologa and I) facilitated a workshop for some of the Randwick park school students and some ex students. We covered making a document about how technology (eg. Ps3 Wii Ipod Iphone Ipad etc.) can help teachers and students in the classroom (eg. Surf the web and Research Etc.) We also coved how to make a movie and how to use the green screen effect on the new imove today we are going to finish the movies off and then we are going to learn how make our one gmail Account (email by Google) how to make a youtube account and make our own blogger account then we are going to learn how to shear you videos form your youtube account to other sites....
